Each 3 metre base-fix channel is engineered for strength and ease of installation. The channel can be joined with connector pins or configured for corner applications, making it suitable for multi-panel layouts. Installation uses M12 anchor bolts at 200mm centres to ensure maximum stability and load distribution. The adjustable wedge system allows for fine glass alignment, while the removable bead strips and rubber gaskets lock panels firmly in place.
Tested with toughened and toughened laminated glass across 17.52mm, 19mm, and 21.52mm thicknesses, this system meets UK safety standards for domestic, commercial, and public use. Integrated drainage holes maintain long-term performance in exposed outdoor environments, preventing water accumulation and corrosion.
