How are glass splashbacks painted?
To produce a back-painted glass splashback, we first cut a piece of glass to the appropriate size, according to the dimensions requested in the order.
The glass is then toughened by heating it up and cooling it down very quickly, which strengthens the glass to ensure it is durable enough for installation in a kitchen.
Finally, the glass is cleaned and prepared for painting. We prepare the chosen paint colour and apply it carefully to one side of the glass, creating even layers.
Once painted, the glass can be heat-treated and a special coating applied to seal the paint and protect the bonded layers. It will then be ready to mount on a wall using a suitable adhesive.
How much do glass kitchen splashbacks cost?
Each painted glass splashback cost is based on the paint colour and the size, which is determined by width and height in cm.
For this reason, costs can range from £65 to £196 depending on the colour and size you choose.
